Multi- Stage Filter - 11 Liter - Alkaline

Alkaline combination of a multi-stage filter + pH ring for the Aqualine 11 Liters and Coolmart CM 101 water filtration system. The included ring increases the pH of the water by 1 – 1.5 pH points. This 4-layer transparent filter replaces the standard white filter.

Making Water Alkaline
This is a combination of the pH neutral filter and a separate pH ring. The ring increases the pH of the water by 1 – 1.5 points, making the water slightly alkaline/basic. Additionally, this filter lowers the ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential), giving the water antioxidant properties.

When to Replace Water Filters?
Replace the filter after 2,000 liters if you filter more than 6 liters of water per day. If you filter less than 6 liters of water per day, the manufacturer advises replacing the filter after 1 year. In Germany, it is legally required to replace filters containing activated carbon every six months.

Part of the filter is made from activated carbon, a natural product. Once the carbon is fully saturated with contaminants, it stops absorbing and may release the contaminants back into the water over time. This point is difficult to determine exactly, which is why it is recommended to replace the filter at least after 1 year.

Preventing Bacterial Growth
Worried about bacterial growth in the filtered water? No need! Part of the mineral stones is impregnated with silver, which prevents bacterial activity in the water. As a result, the filtered water in your Aqualine 18 system stays fresh for weeks.
