The latest generation multi-stage filter for the Aqualine 5 (as shown on this page). This new 4-layer filter removes up to 99.9% of contaminants from the water.

This filter makes the filtered water pH-neutral. If you prefer to drink alkaline water with a higher pH, choose the alkaline combination of a pH-neutral filter + a pH ring

The 4 Layers

1st Layer
High-quality, silver-impregnated activated carbon (type 30X60) with a high absorption capacity.

2nd Layer
Zeolite beads: Environmentally friendly beads with high adsorption properties. These filter out chlorine compounds like trihalomethane, various heavy metals, and soften the water.

3rd Layer
Silica and combination beads: A mix of substances, including Tourmaline, Zeolite, and Kaolin. These beads have a redox function and antibacterial properties.

4th Layer
Illite combination beads: Emit a far-infrared frequency of 9.23 micrometers, which resonates at the same frequency as the human body. This activates cells, stimulates microcirculation, and increases it. They soften the water to a pH of approximately 7.5 and also have antibacterial properties.

Replacement
Replace the filter after 2,000 liters if you filter more than 6 liters of water per day. If you filter less than 6 liters per day, the manufacturer recommends replacing the filter after 1 year. In Germany, it is legally required to replace filters containing activated carbon every six months.

Part of the filter consists of activated carbon, a natural product. Once the carbon becomes fully saturated with contaminants, it can no longer absorb anything and may eventually release the accumulated contaminants back into the water. The exact moment when this occurs cannot be precisely determined. Therefore, it is recommended to replace the filter at least once a year

Concerned about bacterial growth in the filtered water?
No need to worry! Because a part of the mineral stones is impregnated with silver, bacterial activity in the water is inhibited. The filtered water in your water filtration system remains good for weeks.

Usage
This filter is also compatible with the AQV 5, KS 951, KS 971, Aquavit 5, Biovit 200, AquaLive, and all Keosan and Cosan 5-liter models.
