Multi- Stage Filter - 8 Liter - Alkaline

pH neutral multi-stage filter of the latest generation for the Aqualine/AQV 8 Liters, plus the pH ring to make the water alkaline.

Multi-stage filter for the Aqualine 8 Liters  
Combination of the latest generation multi-stage filter for the Aqualine 8 Liters (as shown on this page) with the pH ring to make the water alkaline. This new filter removes up to 99.9% of contaminants from the water.

Making Water Alkaline
The filter makes the filtered water pH neutral, but with the separate pH ring, the pH of the water is increased by 1 – 1.5 points, making it slightly alkaline.

Composition of the Water Filter
1st Layer
High-quality activated carbon type 30X60, impregnated with silver, with a high adsorption capacity.

2nd Layer
Zeolite balls. Environmentally friendly balls with a high adsorption value, filtering chlorine compounds such as trihalomethanes and various heavy metals from the water, making it softer.

3rd Layer
Silica and combination balls. These balls are a mix of various substances, including Tourmaline, Zeolite, and Kaolin. They have a redox function and antibacterial properties.

4th Layer
Illite combination balls. These emit a far-infrared frequency of 9.23 micrometers, which resonates at the same frequency as the human body. This activates cells, stimulates microcirculation, and increases it. They soften the water to a pH of approximately 7.5 and also have antibacterial properties.

5th Layer
Clay balls. They increase oxygen absorption in the blood and improve metabolism.

Making Water Alkaline/Basic with the pH Ring
This is an option with your order. If you choose the alkaline version, the system will be delivered with a pH ring. The ring is filled with magnetite balls, tourmaline balls, alkaline balls, and magnesium balls. The ring increases the pH of the filtered water by an average of 1 – 1.5 pH points, making the water slightly alkaline. The exact pH of the water will depend on your tap water.

Replace the filter and pH ring after 2,000 liters if you filter more than 6 liters per day. If you filter less than 6 liters of water per day, the manufacturer advises replacing the filter and pH ring after 1 year. In Germany, it is legally required to replace filters containing carbon every six months.

When to Replace the Filter?
Part of the filter consists of activated carbon, a natural product. Once the carbon is fully saturated with contaminants, it no longer absorbs and may gradually release the contaminants back into the water. This point is difficult to determine exactly. Therefore, it is recommended to replace the filter at least after 1 year.

Preventing Bacterial Growth
Worried about bacterial growth in the filtered water? No need! Part of the mineral stones is impregnated with silver, which prevents bacterial activity in the water. As a result, the filtered water in your Aqualine 18 system stays fresh for weeks.
