Dragonfly Water Solutions B.V., Gijsbrecht van Amstelstraat 240, 1215 CR Hilversum, Netherlands. KvK 76489256, BTW NL860642574B01.
Version 1.0, effective 1 September 2026. This page explains what we store on your device and what you can do about it. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. The rule we work to
Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC, implemented in article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet, says we may only store information on your device, or read information already there, if you have agreed, having been told clearly what it is for. There is one exception: things that are strictly necessary to deliver the shop you asked for.
So the cart works without asking you. Everything else asks first.
2. The four categories
| Category | What it does | Set without asking? |
| Strictly necessary | Keeps your cart, your session, your sign in, load balancing, fraud checks at checkout, and the record of what you chose on the cookie banner | Yes. These cannot be switched off, and there is no useful shop without them |
| Preferences | Remembers choices such as currency or country | No |
| Analytics | Counts visits and shows us which pages get read and where people leave | No |
| Marketing | Measures advertising, remembers which partner referred you so they get paid, and lets us show relevant offers | No |
3. What is actually running on this store
These are the tools that set or read something on your device, and the category each one falls in.
| Tool | Who runs it | What it is for | Category |
| Shopify store and checkout cookies | Shopify | Cart, session, sign in, checkout, fraud prevention, and remembering your cookie choice | Strictly necessary |
| Shopify analytics | Shopify | Visit and traffic reporting for us | Analytics |
| Shopify marketing and conversion tracking | Shopify | Measuring campaigns and conversions | Marketing |
| Google Analytics | Google | Counting visits and seeing which pages are used, in aggregate | Analytics |
| Judge.me | Judge.me | Showing reviews and linking a review to a real order | Analytics |
| Enlistly | Enlistly | Recording which partner referred you so the commission is paid to the right person | Marketing. See section 4 |
| SmartPush | SmartPush | Linking an email you clicked to what you did on the site | Marketing |
| Ecomail | Ecomail | Linking an email you clicked to what you did on the site | Marketing |
This table was checked against the live storefront on 1 September 2026. If we add an app, we update it. If you find something running here that is not on this list, tell us and we will fix the list.
4. Affiliate tracking, said plainly
When you arrive through a partner's link we store an identifier so that if you buy, the partner who sent you gets paid. It is not strictly necessary to run the shop, so we do not store it until you accept marketing cookies. If you decline, the shop works exactly the same and you pay exactly the same. The partner is the one who loses the commission, and our partners know that.
5. Changing your mind
Click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. You can change or withdraw any consent there, at any time, and it is exactly as easy as giving it was. Your browser settings can also block or delete cookies, though blocking the strictly necessary ones will break the cart.
6. How long the choice lasts
We remember your choice for six months, after which we ask again. We keep a record of what you chose and when, because we have to be able to show it.
7. Questions
Email info@dragonflywater.com. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Autoriteit Consument en Markt, which enforces the Dutch cookie rules, or to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens for the data protection side.
