Terms of service

Dragonfly Water Solutions B.V., Gijsbrecht van Amstelstraat 240, 1215 CR Hilversum, Netherlands. KvK 76489256, BTW NL860642574B01. Referred to below as "Dragonfly" or "we". You are "you".

Version 1.0, effective 1 September 2026. These are the terms on which we sell. By placing an order you accept them. Nothing in them takes away a right you have under Dutch or European consumer law.

1. Who these terms are for

Most of our customers are consumers, which means people buying for themselves rather than for a business. Consumer law gives you rights that we cannot contract away, and we do not try to. Where a section applies only to consumers, it says so.

If you are buying for a business, for resale, or as a practice, the consumer sections do not apply to you. Sections 6 and 7 are consumer sections. Resellers and distributors buy under a separate agreement. Email info@dragonflywater.com.

2. The contract

The store is in English and we sell in euros. Putting items in your cart and paying is your offer to buy. The contract exists when we send you an order confirmation by email. If we cannot supply, we say so and refund you in full.

We can decline an order. The reasons are always one of these: the item is not actually available, the price shown was obviously wrong, we cannot ship to the address, we cannot verify the payment, or the order looks like fraud or resale of a product not cleared for resale. We tell you which one, and you get your money back the same day we decline.

An obvious pricing error is a price no reasonable person would take as real, for example a EUR 2,400 device listed at EUR 24 through a keying mistake. We are not obliged to sell at that price. We contact you before doing anything.

3. Prices, VAT and duties

  • Prices shown include Dutch VAT. The checkout shows the total before you pay, including delivery.
  • Orders delivered inside the European Union include Dutch VAT at the applicable rate. There is nothing further to pay on delivery.
  • Orders delivered outside the European Union are invoiced without Dutch VAT. Import duty, import VAT and any customs handling fee in the destination country are yours to pay, and the carrier normally collects them before delivery. We cannot tell you the amount in advance because it depends on your country's rules.
  • Customers in the United States: the 800 dollar de minimis exemption has ended, so orders are dutiable regardless of value.
  • We declare every parcel with its real contents and its real value. We cannot mark an order as a gift or understate what it is worth.

4. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through iDEAL, credit and debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), PayPal, Klarna, Bancontact, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. We never see or store your full card details.

5. Delivery

Our Shipping and Delivery policy forms part of these terms. If we have not agreed a specific date with you, we deliver within thirty days of the order at the latest. If we miss that, you can give us a further reasonable period, and if we miss that too you can cancel and we refund you in full.

Risk in the goods passes to you when you, or someone you nominated other than the carrier, takes physical possession of them.

6. Changing your mind (consumers)

You have fourteen days to change your mind, without giving a reason. The full rules, the exceptions, and the model withdrawal form are in our Right of Withdrawal, Returns and Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. If something is wrong with what we sent (consumers)

Separately from the fourteen days, Dutch law entitles you to goods that match their description and do what goods of that kind normally do. That is article 7:17 of the Dutch Civil Code, and it runs for two years from delivery. It costs you nothing and you do not need a receipt from us to rely on it.

Copper is a living material. It darkens, develops a patina, and varies in finish, weight and hammer marks between pieces, because it is made by hand. That is the material behaving normally, not a fault. Your fourteen day right to change your mind still applies to it.

8. What our products are

We sell wellness and lifestyle products: water treatment and vitalisation devices, drinkware, ceramics, textiles, light and sound devices, air products, food supplements and printed decks.

They are not medicines and they are not medical devices. We do not offer them to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any illness, and nothing we publish should be read that way. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are under treatment, your doctor is the person to ask, not us.

Where a product carries an independent test or certificate, we name the body that issued it and say what it covers. Where a product has none, we say that too.

Food supplements are foods, not medicines. Use them as directed on the pack.

Follow the instructions supplied with each product. Copper drinkware has cleaning and use guidance for a reason, including which liquids it is not suitable for.

9. Your account

Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it. What happens under your account is your responsibility until you tell us otherwise.

10. Reviews and anything you send us

If you leave a review or send us a photograph, you are confirming it is your own honest experience and your own work, and you are giving us permission to publish it on our site and channels under the name you gave. We do not pay for reviews and we do not delete a review for being negative. We do remove content that is abusive, that is not from a real customer, or that makes a health claim we could not stand behind.

11. Our content

The text, photography, logos and design on this site belong to Dragonfly Water Solutions B.V. or to our suppliers. You may not reproduce them commercially without our written permission.

12. Liability

We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Dutch law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are untouched by anything in this document.

Beyond that, our liability in connection with an order is limited to what you paid for it.

13. Complaints

Email info@dragonflywater.com with your order number. We answer within two working days and we aim to resolve a complaint within fourteen days. If we need longer, we tell you why and when.

If we cannot settle a complaint between us, consumers in the Netherlands can contact ConsuWijzer, the consumer information service of the Autoriteit Consument en Markt, at consuwijzer.nl. Consumers elsewhere in the EU can contact the European Consumer Centre in their own country. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025 and no longer exists.

14. Law and courts

Dutch law governs these terms and every contract made under them. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, this does not take away your right to the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer law, or your right to bring a claim in your own courts.

15. Changes

We can change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you placed it. We keep the previous versions and will send you the one you bought under if you ask.
