Water Filter Set for Aqualine 5 Liter
This set includes the latest generation multi-stage filter for the Aqualine 5 Liter (as shown on this page) and a ceramic pre-filter. This new filter removes up to 99.9% of contaminants from the water.

How the Filtration Process Works

1st Stage – Ceramic Filter
This filter is located in the filling tank and has a fineness of 0.2 microns (0.0002 mm). With this pre-filter, you remove a large portion of contaminants from the water, including bacteria, insoluble calcium and magnesium particles. The water slowly passes through the filter and then drips into the multi-stage filter.

2nd Stage – Multi-Stage Filter

• 1st Layer
  High-quality, silver-impregnated, activated carbon (type 30X60) with a high absorption capacity.

• 2nd Layer
  Zeolite beads: Environmentally friendly beads with high adsorption properties that filter out chlorine compounds like trihalomethane and various heavy metals, softening the water.

• 3rd Layer
  Silica and combination beads. These beads are a mix of various substances including Tourmaline, Zeolite, and Kaolin. They have a redox function and antibacterial properties.

• 4th Layer
  Illite combination beads emit a far-infrared frequency of 9.23 micrometers. This frequency resonates at the same frequency as the human body, activating cells, stimulating the microcirculation, and increasing it. They soften the water to a pH of approximately 7.5 and also have antibacterial properties.
  
  

3rd Stage – Alkalizing/Basic-making with the pH Ring
This is an optional choice with your order. If you choose the alkaline version, the system comes with a pH ring. The ring is filled with magnetite beads, tourmaline beads, alkaline beads, and magnesium beads. The ring raises the pH of the filtered water by an average of 1 to 1.5 pH points, resulting in slightly alkaline water. The pH level of the water depends on your tap water. Additionally, the pH ring lowers the ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) value, giving the water antioxidant properties (the water does not add antioxidants).

When to Replace the Filter
Replace the filter after 2,000 liters if you filter more than 6 liters of water per day. If you filter less than 6 liters of water per day, the manufacturer recommends replacing the filter after 1 year. In Germany, it is legally required to replace filters containing activated carbon every six months.

Part of the filter consists of activated carbon, a natural product. Once the carbon is fully saturated with contaminants, it can no longer absorb anything and may eventually release the accumulated contaminants. This moment is not precisely determinable. Therefore, it is recommended to replace the filter at least once a year.

No need to worry! Because a part of the mineral stones is impregnated with silver, bacterial activity in the water is inhibited. The filtered water in your water filtration system remains good for weeks.
