Annual Filter Set for Aqualine 8 Liter Water Filter
This set for 1 year consists of a ceramic filter, a multi-stage filter, and a pH-ring (to make the water alkaline).

Making Water Alkaline
This alkaline combination includes a pH ring that increases the pH of the filtered water by 1 to 1.5 points. This creates slightly alkaline water with a pH level between 8.5 and 9.5. The final pH always depends on the pH of your tap water.

When to Replace the Filter
Replace the filter after 2,000 liters if you filter more than 6 liters of water per day. If you filter less than 6 liters of water per day, the manufacturer recommends replacing the filter after 1 year. In Germany, it is legally required to replace filters containing activated carbon every six months.

Part of the filter consists of activated carbon, a natural product. Once the carbon is fully saturated with contaminants, it can no longer absorb anything and may eventually release the accumulated contaminants. This moment is not precisely determinable. Therefore, it is recommended to replace the filter at least once a year.

No need to worry! Because a part of the mineral stones is impregnated with silver, bacterial activity in the water is inhibited. The filtered water in your water filtration system remains good for weeks.

This set is compatible with the Aqualine 5, KS 911, Aquavit 5, AQV 5, Biovit 100, Aqualive 5, and all Keosan and Cosan 5-liter systems. Additionally, this filter fits into various Nikken piMag systems.
