Complete annual set for the Aqualine 11 Liters This complete annual set is intended for customers who wish to order the mineral stones along with the filters once every 3 years for the Aqualine 18/CM 101.
The set includes a ceramic filter, a (transparent) multi-stage filter, and a set of mineral stones.
This set does not include a pH ring. You can order this alkaline combination separately.
When to Replace Water Filters Replace the filter after 2,000 liters if you filter more than 6 liters of water daily. If you filter less than 6 liters per day, the manufacturer recommends replacing the filter after 1 year. In Germany, it is legally required to replace filters containing activated carbon every six months.
Part of the filter is made of activated carbon, a natural product. Once the carbon is fully saturated with contaminants, it no longer absorbs and may release the contaminants back into the water over time. This moment is difficult to pinpoint precisely, which is why it is advised to replace the filter at least after 1 year.
Preventing Bacterial Growth Worried about bacterial growth in the filtered water? No need! Part of the mineral stones is impregnated with silver, which prevents bacterial activity in the water. As a result, the filtered water in your Aqualine 18 system stays fresh for weeks.
