Replacement Filter for the Aqualine 11 Liters The transparent filter replaces the standard white filter.
This annual set is designed for customers who have an Aqualine 11 Liters/CM 101 with separate mineral stones.
This annual set comes with a ceramic filter and the (transparent) multi-stage filter.
This set does not include a pH ring. The pH ring is only included with the alkaline combination.
When to Replace the Water Filters? Replace the filter after 2,000 liters if you filter more than 6 liters of water per day. If you filter less than 6 liters of water per day, the manufacturer advises replacing the filter after 1 year. In Germany, it is legally required to replace filters containing activated carbon every six months.
Part of the filter consists of activated carbon, a natural product. Once the carbon is fully saturated with contaminants, it no longer absorbs and may begin to release the contaminants back into the water over time. This moment is difficult to determine exactly. Therefore, it is recommended to replace the filter at least after 1 year.
Preventing Bacterial Growth Worried about bacterial growth in the filtered water? No need! Part of the mineral stones is impregnated with silver, which prevents bacterial activity in the water. As a result, the filtered water in your Aqualine 18 system stays fresh for weeks.
