Weber-Isis Beamer 1:1, gold-plated

Eckhard Weber built the Isis-Beamer range around what he calls geometrical form radiation, or sacred geometry: the idea that certain shapes, and the vesica piscis in particular, carry their own field. The Beamer's form combines that geometry with a 7.23 cm base measurement, which Weber calls the "cosmic key", and with ancient Egyptian relief patterns that inspired its ring-and-groove structure.

What it is

Polished, gold-plated brass, with 7 ribs and 8 grooves running around the body. It is sold in five sizes, 1:1 through 1:5, each built to the same base wavelength multiplied by its ratio. It runs on no battery and no mains power.

What Weber describes it as doing

Weber describes the Beamer as building a field around itself that he says can harmonise exposure to sources such as Wi-Fi, mobile and broadcast signals, high-voltage lines and other electronics in a room, and he reports that wearers have told him it supports better sleep and a sense of protection. He is open that this has no accepted scientific measurement behind it: an independent seven-page test by the Hagalis Institute is the only outside study he cites, on shielding of mobile-phone radiation.

How to use it

• Worn on the sternum, so the lower ball sits at the solar plexus. Do not wear it against bare skin for long periods: sweat can attack the brass and gold plating.
• Placed in its wooden stand, directly on or beside an electronic device such as a TV or monitor.
• Start with an hour or so at a time; after a few days most people move to wearing it, or keeping it nearby, all day.
• At night, place it in its stand near the bed.
• Works best held vertically.

The Beamer has been part of the Weber-Isis range since the 1990s and, per the manufacturer, has sold more than 55,000 units.
