Weber-Isis Cross, gold-plated

Eckhard Weber built the Isis Cross from four of his smaller Isis pendulums, joined into an isosceles cross. He describes it as a piece for everyday, subtle protection, designed for people who spend their day around other people: he names doctors, therapists, alternative practitioners, teachers, counsellors, social workers and salespeople as the professions who ask for it most.

The design

The cross measures 5.42 cm by 5.42 cm and weighs 38 grams. It is gold-plated and its four arms are filled with quartz sand, natural cotton and beeswax, the same fill Weber uses in the Isis pendulum. He points to the cross as one of the oldest human symbols, found across cultures from ancient Egypt to Tibet to Christian iconography, and describes its vertical and horizontal lines as representing a union of different forces.

What Weber describes it as doing

Weber frames the Cross as building a field around the wearer that he describes as protective on what he calls a subtle, energetic level, distinct from the electromagnetic focus of the Weber-Isis Beamer: the two are not substitutes for each other. This is his own framework and, by his own account, has no accepted scientific measurement behind it.

How to wear it

Worn on the sternum, on a cord. Avoid long periods against bare skin, since sweat can affect the gold plating; wearing it over a T-shirt or undershirt works well. Start with 3 to 4 hours at a time; after a week to ten days most people move to wearing it all day. At night, it can be worn, hung near the bed, or placed on a bedpost.
